Dress Code Policy |

It is the responsibility of the player to be in appropriate golf attire. Should a player be in violation of the JAGS Junior Tour Dress Code Policy, the player will be required to change into appropriate clothing to meet the JAGS Junior Tour Dress Code Policy and checked in with the tournament committee member (starter) on the first tee 5 minutes before his/her assigned tee time to avoid penalties or disqualification in accordance with the Rules of Golf.
Player Dress Code Should a host facility have a stricter dress code, their policy will take precedence.
1. Hats / visors must be worn with brim forward; males must remove hat/visor while indoors at host facility.
2. Collared or mock collar shirts must be worn and tucked in at all times for boys.
3. Pants and/or shorts must have belts (boys & girls) if pants and/or shorts are too loose to stay above the hip area.
4. Women’s shirts without a collar are acceptable but must have sleeves. Girls shirts do not have to be tucked in but must be squared off at the bottom of the shirt and the shirt must cover their midriff (stomach) area when swinging a golf club.
5. Girl’s shorts must be no more than 5" above the knee or the inseam of the shorts must measure at least 5" in length.
6. Spike less shoes.
Player Prohibited Dress: Players in violation will not be allowed to tee off without conforming to dress code policy.
1. Tank tops, non-collared t-shirts, Denim or Levi shorts, short-shorts, cut-off shorts, cargo shorts or pants, baggy shorts or pants, low rider shorts or pants, gym shorts, jeans of any kind, visible undergarments and flip-flops.
2. Earrings (boys) or visible Body Piercings or tattoos (boys and girls)
3. Spiked shoes.
4. California High School students may not wear any article of clothing (shirts, pants, hats, shoes, gloves, turtlenecks, rain gear, wind shirts, etc.) or use any equipment (bags, tees, balls, etc.) that displays their high school’s name or logo imprinted, embroidered, or stamped at a JAGS Junior Tour tournament, event or program during their high school golfing season, as stated in CIF rules and regulations: These seasons are as follows: FALL: Girls Season is August 10th through post season competition (December 1st). SPRING: Boys Season is February 1st through post season competition (June 10th).
5. Questionable attire will be reviewed by the Tournament Committee. All decisions are final.
It is the responsibility of Parents, Guests and Spectators to be dress appropriately while attending a JAGS Junior Tour tournament or program.
JAGS Junior Tour understand that many non-private or public golf clubs and courses permit players, guest and spectators to wear Levi, short shorts, flip flops, tank tops etc., however, such dress does not meet the Dress Code Policy for the JAGS Junior Tour and is not permitted. Spectating is a privilege and it is important that all spectators abide by the JAGS Junior Tour Dress Code policy for spectating privileges.Spectators will not be permitted on the course if wearing the following:1. Flip Flops
2. Tank Tops - Strapless Tops - Tops with Spaghetti Straps
3. Visible undergarments
4. Levi Pants or Shorts, Denim Pants or Shorts
5. Cut-off Shorts or Short Shorts (Walking length shorts are permitted) 6. Baggy Pants or Shorts
7. Low Rider Pants or Shorts
8. Gym Shorts
9. Spiked Shoes
10. Clothing showing a bare midriff
11. Gang logo attire or inappropriate wording or suggestive designs on clothing
12. Questionable attire will be reviewed by the Tournament Committee
